Everything you need to know about scanning meals, coaching, and staying on track with ATE Food.
ATE Food is an AI-powered nutrition app that helps you make smarter food choices. Scan a meal to get instant calorie and nutrition estimates, chat with an AI health coach, and track habits like water, weight, and activity — with personalized, real-time guidance. It is available on iOS and Android.
Take a photo of your meal and ATE Food uses AI to identify the food and estimate its calories and macronutrients (protein, carbs, and fat). You can review and correct the results before logging them, so your food diary stays accurate.
No. ATE Food is a lifestyle and food-awareness tool for educational and personal tracking purposes only. It is not a medical, healthcare, diagnostic, treatment, or clinical nutrition service, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making health or diet decisions.
The AI health coach gives personalized lifestyle guidance based on your goals and logged data. You can type or speak to it to get meal ideas, habit suggestions, and food-awareness insights. Coaching is informational and is not medical advice.
To provide AI features (meal recognition, the coach, and voice), ATE Food processes the content you submit using OpenAI as a third-party AI sub-processor. OpenAI does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. You are asked to consent in the app before this processing occurs, and full details are in our Privacy Policy.
ATE Food is free to download and use, with optional auto-renewing subscriptions — Advanced Lifestyle and Lifestyle Premium — that unlock additional features. Pricing and what each plan includes are shown on the Pricing page and on the subscription screen in the app.
ATE Food is available on iPhone and iPad (iOS) and on Android phones and tablets. You can download it from the App Store and Google Play.
Subscriptions are managed through your app store account. On iOS, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open the Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
Your data is stored securely and is only accessible to you. You can export or delete your data at any time from the app settings, including your account. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and how it is used.
